LGBTQ+
Are you hoping to explore your own identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation in a space where it feels safe to talk openly and honestly?
Or maybe you’re looking for a space to explore how your gender or sexuality impacts your relationships?
Perhaps you’re seeking support for something unrelated to your identity and sexual orientation, but want to do so in a space that it feels safe to show up as your whole, true self?
No matter your “why” for being here, I will provide a space in the mental health world where you can show up exactly as you are, wherever you may be in your journey.
Areas where I have specific experience include:
Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and queer identified individuals and relationships
Ethical non-monogamy, including open relationships & polyamory
Exploration of gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation
Transgender, gender fluid, and gender nonconforming individuals
Letter writing in support of hormone replacement therapy and gender-affirming surgery per WPATH standards
Parents & family members of people who belong to the LGBTQ+ community
I recognize that therapist identity and experiences often impact your decision making about who you want to work with. I am a cisgendered, heterosexual female and use she/her pronouns. I work diligently to be an actionable ally to the LGBTQ+ community in both my personal and professional life and I recognize my lived experience is different and privileged as a result. I seek to provide a truly safe space for people of all identities in therapy. You can learn more about me here.
