Family Therapy

Family therapy aims to support two or more people in navigating their relationships and the complexities or challenges within them.

Family therapy is available to any group who identifies as having committed relationships and a biological or legal connection is not required. There are many ways to define a family and however you define yours is valid.

As a family therapist, I work to get to know each person that is coming in, making space for everyone to share their own experiences, thoughts, and reactions while we all work together to meet your goals. Families seek support from a therapist for many reasons and no reason is too big or too small. Large and complicated families are a joy for me to work with and I have a unique ability to offer longer intensive sessions aimed at addressing a single issue or ongoing family sessions to get more at the core of challenges that are in the way of having the family relationships you would like to have. Most family therapy work begins with individual intake sessions followed by extended or intensive joint sessions.

I often work with families who are seeking to: repair after a conflict, determine the next phase of relationships, explore parenthood, or process a loss. I provide Parent Child Relationship Repair (also known as Reunification Therapy) as well as work often to support improved relationships between parents and their adult children. My primary goal is to offer a space of support for your family to heal whatever hurts and move forward, wherever that path may lead.

I feel privileged to walk alongside each family I work with and hope to have the honor to support yours in your journey.
